I've built a career and business helping purpose-driven people find the clarity and confidence to create the impact they deserve.
What I've learnt is that the barriers worth tackling are rarely the ones on the surface.
THE STRATEGIC FOUNDATION
For over fifteen years, I've worked at the heart of strategic decision making in healthcare. I'm the person leaders call when things feel complex and unclear, when teams are pulling in different directions, or when an organisation knows it needs to change but can't see how.
I've built strategies that bring people together around a shared direction. I've designed nationwide campaigns and events. I've worked with boards, leadership teams, and frontline staff, often in the same room.
I love it. There's something about the moment people stop talking in circles and start making decisions together. That's what I'm built for. And it's what Moon & Mountain is built on too.
But the longer I've done this work, the more I notice that strategy alone only gets you so far.

WHAT STRATEGY CAN'T REACH
I've worked with brilliant, committed people who had every reason to succeed. The strategy was clear. The plan was agreed. And still, something held them back.
Sometimes it showed up as a team that wouldn't ask for what they needed. Sometimes it was a leader who could articulate the vision for everyone else but couldn't back themselves. Sometimes it was an entire organisation that had a complicated, unspoken relationship with money that quietly shaped every decision they made.
I started to see that the external stuff - the strategy, the structure, the plan - was only ever half the picture.
The other half was internal. And almost nobody was working on both.
THEN IT GOT PERSONAL
When I left my corporate role, I knew I'd outgrown it. The work was fine. But fine wasn't enough. I had a killer skill set, a strong track record, and a gut feeling that I was capable of more than I was being allowed to do.
What I didn't have was confidence in my own worth.
I'll never forget the moment a potential client asked for my day rate. I froze. Here I was, someone who'd led complex strategies and worked alongside board-level partners, unable to put a price on my own expertise.
It wasn't about money. It was about what I believed I deserved.
That moment cracked everything open. I could see, for the first time, that every underpaid role, every missed promotion, every time I'd given more than I asked for in return, had the same root. And I could see it wasn't just me. It was a pattern I'd watched play out for people inside every organisation I'd ever worked with.
BUILDING MOON & MOUNTAIN
Once I saw how deeply confidence and self-worth were shaping the decisions I was making, I couldn't unsee it. I took control of closing the disconnect between my capabilities and my confidence.
The transformation was so significant, I trained as an accredited Money Archetypes® coach, one of a small number in the UK, building on the leadership coaching and mentoring qualifications I already held.
Moon & Mountain grew from all of it. Not just the money mindset work. Not just the strategy. Both.
Because the pattern I kept seeing was always the same. Purpose-driven people and organisations giving everything, but still feeling like it's harder than it should be. Not for lack of talent or commitment. But because clarity and confidence weren't working together.
As for the name...the mountain is everything external, the strategy, the targets, the climb itself. The moon is everything internal, your sense of worth, your confidence, your belief that the climb is meant for you. The path forward only opens up when you're working with both. That's what Moon & Mountain is built to do.
WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE NOW
Every collaboration is different. Some need strategic clarity. Some need to be braver about money. What they all have in common is the need to step back, see things differently, and find a way forward that wasn't visible before.
In practice, that might look like an away day that actually changes something. A Fearless Fundraising experience that shifts how your team thinks about asking. Using Money Archetypes profiling to help your leaders understand what's really driving their decisions. A programme delivered through a membership body or network. Or The Money Quest, a guided journey for those ready to shift their relationship with money for good.
Many of the organisations and people I work with come back, for something different, or to go deeper. And the ongoing connection, through leadership coaching, quarterly gatherings like The Campfire, or longer-term strategic partnerships, is often where change becomes sustainable.
HOW I WORK
However I'm working, whether it's a strategy day with your leadership team or guiding you to untangle your relationship with money, the approach is the same. I create spaces where people reconnect with what matters most and understand they have genuine agency in making it happen. I use metaphor, games, and creative thinking to unlock perspectives that conventional meetings or programmes never reach. The energy is purposeful but never pressured. There's space for everyone, whatever their style or starting point.
That's why I think of everything I do as an experience, not just a process. Processes give you a plan. Experiences give you the confidence to act.
A RICH LIFE
These days, I work spaciously, rather than frantically, towards my version of a rich life. Mike and I spend part of the winter abroad. I've consciously built a business that lets me do work I genuinely love with people who are trying to make the world better.
I don't think that makes me special. I think it makes me someone who stopped chasing someone else's version of success and started building her own.
